The Mission Karmayogi training programme has gained strong momentum in Uttar Pradesh under the Yogi Adityanath government, with more than 5.41 lakh employees completing over four training modules, according to official data. The state government says the initiative is helping improve administrative efficiency, digital readiness and service delivery across departments.

Officials said the programme is being used to build a more technology-driven and accountable governance system in the state. By focusing on skill development, digital learning and capacity building, Mission Karmayogi is helping employees adapt to modern administrative practices. The government believes this shift will make public service delivery faster, more transparent and more result-oriented.

As per the latest progress report, out of nearly 7 lakh government employees in Uttar Pradesh, 6,14,245 have registered on the Mission Karmayogi portal. Among them, 5,41,512 employees have completed more than four training courses. The report also shows that only 0.50 percent of employees have not participated in any learning module, indicating strong engagement with the programme.

The state government has described this progress as an important step towards digital governance. Officials said Mission Karmayogi is not limited to training alone, but is also strengthening monitoring systems, implementation of government schemes and internal administrative processes. The aim is to move the state administration from a traditional working model to a modern, digital and performance-based system.

Several districts have shown particularly strong performance in the training initiative. In Baghpat, 97.24 percent of employees have completed more than four courses, while Sant Kabir Nagar has recorded 97.13 percent completion. Mathura and Basti have reported 95.68 percent completion, followed by Barabanki at 94.95 percent, Shravasti at 94.21 percent and Siddharthnagar at 92.94 percent.

Other districts have also shown encouraging results. Aligarh recorded 94.22 percent completion, Varanasi 91.09 percent, Lucknow 89.70 percent and Prayagraj 87.09 percent. The figures suggest that the training programme is reaching employees across regions and departments in a consistent manner.

The Yogi government has been expanding digital monitoring systems, e-office platforms, technology-based education management and online training infrastructure to support this initiative. Officials said these efforts are meant to improve efficiency at every level of administration and build a stronger work culture within government departments.

Mission Karmayogi is also expected to improve the quality of public service by helping employees gain new skills relevant to current governance needs. The state government believes that continuous training will play a key role in making Uttar Pradesh’s administration more efficient, responsive and future-ready.

Overall, the progress under Mission Karmayogi reflects the state’s push toward e-governance, digital capacity building and administrative reform. With a large number of employees actively participating, the programme is emerging as an important part of Uttar Pradesh’s governance strategy.
