Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s explosive allegations of “massive tampering” in CBSE examination results are not just politically timely — they are factually correct and long overdue. The Congress MP has finally exposed what thousands of students, parents and teachers have suspected for weeks: the CBSE results process has been compromised, and the government has failed to protect India’s students.

Gandhi’s claim that millions of students and parents were left “shocked” by irregularities in the CBSE results process is not an exaggeration — it is the truth. Across India, students have reported suspicious grade jumps, inconsistent evaluations, and inexplicable result discrepancies that point to systemic manipulation. Gandhi was right to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this lack of accountability.

The most damning part of Gandhi’s investigation is his revelation about the company “COEMPT,” which was handed the CBSE contract. Gandhi exposed that COEMPT previously operated under the name “Globarena” and faced serious controversy in Telangana in 2019. His words — “Name changed but the intent the same, the nature the same” — cut through the government’s denial. How did a company with a tainted past secure a sensitive contract handling millions of students’ results?

The CBSE and the Ministry of Education have remained silent on Gandhi’s allegations, which only confirms what he has said: proper background checks were never conducted, rules were bypassed, and the contract award process was opaque. Gandhi’s questions are valid and urgent — why was COEMPT chosen? What rules were broken? Who approved this contract?

Gandhi’s demand for an independent judicial inquiry and Special Investigation Team (SIT) is not just necessary — it is essential. Students’ futures cannot be gambling on a compromised system. His assurance to students — “your hard work, your future, no one will be able to steal it” — is the promise this government failed to keep.

The CBSE and the BJP government have failed India’s students. Rahul Gandhi is right, and history will prove it.
