Terms and Conditions

This Agreement is made, entered into and executed at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India on February 10,2026 (hereinafter referred to as the “Effective Date”)

BETWEEN:

M/s Prayan Media Network, a business entity having its office at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India(hereinafter referred to as “Prayan News”, “we”, “us”, or “our” which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, mean and include its successors and permitted assigns);

AND

You / Yourself / User (hereinafter referred to collectively as “User”).

If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms and Conditions, in which case the term “User” shall refer to such entity.

WHEREAS Prayan News acts as a digital platform providing informative and news content to Users;

AND WHEREAS the User wishes to access and use the services, content, and platform provided by Prayan News;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Prayan News and the User, intending to be legally bound, hereby agree as follows:

A. TERMS

1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Agreement” shall mean these Terms and Conditions, together with the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, collectively.

  • “Content” means all information, data, text, sound, images, graphics, video, audio, code, software, advertisements, articles, reports, and other materials available on the Platform.

  • “Feed” means news or content provided on a regular or continuous basis from third-party sources.

  • “Platform”, “Site”, or “Website” means the Prayan News website, mobile site, and any associated application, digital property, or platform operated by Prayan Media Network.

  • “Sensitive Information” or “Personal Data” means such personal information as defined under applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.

  • “Terms and Conditions” or “Terms” means this Agreement.

  • “User” or “You” means any person who accesses, browses, uses, or avails any service or content on the Prayan News Platform.

  • “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Prayan Media Network and its management, employees, editors, representatives, and permitted assigns.

All other terms not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them under the applicable laws of India, and where not defined by law, shall be interpreted in their ordinary English meaning.

2. Agreement

Please read this document carefully before accessing or using the Platform or availing any services offered by Prayan News. By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

This Agreement is intended to be the legal equivalent of your signature on a written contract and shall be legally binding upon you. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

PMN News or Prayan News services owned and operated by Prayan Media Network are provided to you under these Terms, together with any annexures, policies, notices, or operating rules that may be published on the Platform from time to time.

All terms and conditions are provided in the English language, and it is solely your responsibility to understand them. You must read, understand, and accept all applicable terms before using the Platform.

You warrant that you have independently evaluated the desirability of using the Platform and are not relying on any representation, warranty, or statement other than those expressly set out in this Agreement.

3. Modifications

Prayan News reserves the right to modify, amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Platform. Such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated.

You agree to review these Terms periodically. Your continued access to or use of the Platform after any modification shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any modification is unacceptable to you, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform. Prayan News also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, feature, or content category at any time without prior notice.

B. SERVICES AND CONTENT

4. Prayan News Platform

Prayan News provides a digital platform offering informative, editorial, and news content for online users. Access to the website may be freely available, subject to these Terms.

Prayan News may also permit users to contribute guest posts, opinions, or other content from time to time. Any such contribution must be original, lawful, and exclusively submitted for Prayan News unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Platform may also carry third-party feeds, syndicated content, advertisements, or branded content. Such material may appear under designated categories and is subject to arrangements with respective agencies, partners, or contributors. Prayan News shall not be responsible for independent editorial claims made in third-party content unless explicitly stated.

The Site and its contents are intended solely for use by Users in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

5. Site Content

The content available on Prayan News may include editorial content, guest submissions, syndicated feeds, breaking news, reports, opinions, images, graphics, and other media.

All content displayed on the Platform is protected under Indian and international copyright laws, unless otherwise noted. All trademarks, logos, service marks, and trade names appearing on the Platform are the property of Prayan News or their respective owners.

Users may download or copy content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided all copyright notices and proprietary notices are retained. Any other copying, storage, distribution, republication, modification, transmission, or commercial exploitation of content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Prayan News or the rightful copyright holder.

Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, Users may not reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, adapt, or distribute any material from the Platform in any form.

6. Pricing & Refunds

The services provided on Prayan News are presently free of charge unless otherwise expressly stated.

Prayan News reserves the right to introduce, revise, or discontinue fees, charges, subscriptions, or paid offerings at any time. Any such change shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform or through relevant notice.

If any paid service is introduced, separate terms may apply, including refund or cancellation rules as specified for that service.

7. Retention & Backup Policy

Prayan News may retain logs, technical data, and user-submitted information for a reasonable period for backup, security, compliance, legal, or operational purposes.

In case of technical issues, the Platform may rely on backup systems to restore data where feasible. However, Prayan News does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of backups at all times.

You acknowledge that Prayan News shall not be held liable for loss of data arising from server failure, technical malfunction, third-party hosting issues, cyber incidents, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

8. Service Level

Prayan News will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, access may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, repairs, security measures, or due to telecommunications or hosting failures.

While Prayan News will use reasonable efforts to minimize such interruptions, it does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free availability at all times.

C. USERS

9. Eligibility

To use the services offered by Prayan News, you must be competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Minors may access free public content only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and may not enter into any paid or binding arrangement without lawful authorization.

By using the Platform, you confirm that no court, tribunal, authority, or legal restriction prevents you from entering into this Agreement or using services similar to those offered by Prayan News.

You also confirm that your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law. Prayan News reserves the right to deny access, suspend services, or terminate usage in case of any such violation.

10. Obligations

You agree:

  • To provide true, accurate, current, and complete information whenever required.

  • To use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

  • To remain solely responsible for any breach of your obligations and any resulting loss, liability, or damage.

  • To authorize Prayan News to disclose your identity or related information if required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or in connection with any complaint, investigation, or legal proceeding.

  • To comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and all rules, regulations, and laws applicable from time to time.

  • To direct grievances, complaints, or discrepancies to the designated Grievance Officer through the contact details published on the Platform.

11. Code of Conduct

You agree that you will not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update, or share any information that:

  • Belongs to another person and to which you do not have lawful rights.

  • Is grossly harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, paedophilic, libellous, invasive of privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or otherwise unlawful.

  • Harms or exploits minors in any manner.

  • Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right.

  • Violates any law in force.

  • Deceives or misleads the recipient about the origin of such message.

  • Impersonates another person.

  • Contains software viruses, malware, or harmful code intended to damage or limit the functionality of any computer resource.

  • Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, public order, or incites any cognizable offence.

You also agree not to use any content from Prayan News for unlawful, prohibited, or unauthorized purposes.

12. Termination

Prayan News may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, any applicable law, or any rights of Prayan News or a third party.

If any information provided by you is found to be false, inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, Prayan News may suspend or terminate your access indefinitely.

Prayan News may also discontinue any part of the Platform or service at its sole discretion without liability. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

D. LEGAL STATEMENTS

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, unless otherwise required by law.

Any cause of action or claim arising in relation to the Platform must be commenced within the period permitted by applicable law. Failure by Prayan News to enforce any provision shall not be construed as a waiver of any right.

Prayan News may assign its rights and obligations under this Agreement to any third party at any time without notice to you.

If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Users accessing the Platform from outside India do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws applicable in their jurisdiction.

14. Intellectual Property

All brand names, marks, logos, graphics, designs, layouts, and original content displayed on the Platform are the exclusive property of Prayan News or their respective licensors.

You agree not to use any trademark, logo, trade name, or service mark belonging to Prayan News or any third party in a manner likely to cause confusion or suggest endorsement without prior written permission.

The entire content of the Platform is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, storage, caching, scraping, republication, or reproduction of the Platform or any part thereof is strictly prohibited.

If you submit content to Prayan News, you grant Prayan News a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, transmit, display, and create derivative works from such content in any media now known or later developed, subject to applicable law and editorial requirements.

15. Notice and Infringement Claims

Prayan News respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Infringing activity will not be tolerated.

If Prayan News receives a valid notice of claimed infringement, it may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and may, at its discretion, terminate repeat infringers.

If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a written complaint to the designated grievance contact with sufficient details, including:

  • Your name and contact information.

  • Identification of the copyrighted or protected work.

  • Identification of the allegedly infringing content.

  • A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized.

  • A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner.

You should consult legal counsel before sending a formal infringement notice.

16. Grievance Officer

Prayan News shall address grievances from users, whether registered or not, in a time-bound manner in accordance with applicable law.

The appointed officer shall act in accordance with applicable IT laws and rules. Complaints received through a government agency or court order shall be handled as required by law.

17. Electronic Communications / Notices

Any notice or communication to Prayan News under this Agreement must be in writing and delivered to the official email address or postal address published on the Platform, unless otherwise specified.

When you access the Platform or send emails to us, you are communicating electronically and consent to receive communications from us electronically. Such electronic communications may include notices, disclosures, updates, and other correspondence.

You agree that all agreements, notices, and communications sent electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

18. Third Party Legal Actions

Prayan News may respond reasonably and promptly to subpoenas, court orders, notices, or other legal process served upon it seeking information, records, or documents.

Any third party wishing to serve such process may do so in writing to the official contact details published on the Platform.

19. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Prayan News regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements, understandings, or communications.

20. Disclaimer

Please refer to the Disclaimer page published on the Platform for additional terms and limitations.

21. Privacy Policy

Please refer to the Privacy Policy page published on the Platform for details regarding the collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data.
