Indian stock market investors are likely to keep an eye on several companies on Friday, September 11, following fresh order wins, fundraising decisions, operating updates, expansion progress and corporate announcements. Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Sterlite Technologies, Poonawalla Fincorp, Fino Payments Bank, Responsive Industries, Juniper Green Energy and KIMS are among the key stocks expected to remain in focus.
Domestic equity markets ended Thursday on a positive note, snapping a three-session losing streak. The Nifty 50 rose 0.20% to close at 23,477, while the Sensex gained 0.19% to settle at 74,902. However, the broader market continued to show weakness, with the Nifty Midcap 100 declining 0.38% and the Nifty Smallcap 100 falling 0.07%.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering may attract investor attention after receiving a ₹27.82-crore order from Hindalco Industries. The company will supply one Bogey Tank and Petroleum, or BTAP, rake along with one brake van for Hindalco’s Aditya Expansion Project. Texmaco Rail is expected to execute the domestic order within eight months from the date of the purchase order.
Sterlite Technologies could also remain in focus after launching plenum-rated optical fibre trunk assemblies aimed at artificial intelligence data centres. The company said its portfolio, covering 48-fibre to 576-fibre intermittently bonded ribbon pre-terminated assemblies, has received US OFNP certification. The products are designed for indoor deployment across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centres as demand for AI infrastructure grows.
Poonawalla Fincorp has approved the issuance of secured, redeemable, rated and listed non-convertible debentures worth up to ₹2,000 crore through private placement. The proposed fundraising includes different NCD series and green-shoe options. One tranche has a base issue size of ₹100 crore with a green-shoe option of up to ₹400 crore, while the overall programme is aimed at strengthening the company’s funding pipeline.
Fino Payments Bank reported a mixed business update for August. Its average total deposits increased 12% year-on-year to ₹2,821 crore, while loan-referral disbursals surged 367% to ₹243 crore. Cash-management-services throughput rose 17% to ₹6,669 crore. However, transaction throughput declined 19% to ₹3,770 crore, and deposit accounts opened fell 22% to 2.43 lakh. The bank’s digitally active customer base increased 15% to 65.6 lakh.
Responsive Industries said its board will meet on September 17 to consider a proposal for a share buyback. The trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives will remain closed until 48 hours after the board meeting concludes.
Juniper Green Energy commissioned 35 MW of wind capacity under its 150 MW Wind Solar Hybrid Power Project. With the latest commissioning, capacity under the project has reached 175 MWp against the planned 190 MWp.
KIMS has entered into an exclusive five-year operations and management agreement with Sarvottam Health Care. The agreement can be extended for another five years, and KIMS will manage the facility in return for a fee equal to 9% of total net revenue.
