Accuracy and verification. We publish information only after reasonable verification against credible sources. Where a fact cannot be independently confirmed, we say so clearly. We do not publish rumour, unverified claims or misleading content.
Editorial independence. Our newsroom operates independently of advertisers, investors and other commercial interests. No advertiser or external party is given the right to approve, alter or suppress editorial coverage.
Sourcing and transparency. We attribute information to its source and link to original documents, filings and statements wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained otherwise, and only with an editor’s approval.
Conflicts of interest. Our journalists do not accept gifts, payment or favours that could influence coverage. Reporters covering listed companies or markets do not trade in securities they actively report on, and disclose any unavoidable interest to their editor.
Sponsored and brand content. Content produced in partnership with, or paid for by, a third party is clearly labelled (for example, “Brand Post”) and kept visually and editorially separate from independent news coverage.
Use of AI tools. We may use AI-assisted tools for research, drafting, translation and summarisation. Such content remains the responsibility of our editorial team and is reviewed by an editor before publication. We do not present AI-generated material as independent human reporting where that would mislead readers.
Financial content. PMN News reports on markets and companies for informational purposes only. We do not provide investment, financial or legal advice, and readers should conduct their own research before making decisions.
