Continuous efforts by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and local police have started showing results in the Malviya Nagar area, where residents and stakeholders have begun voluntarily removing portions of religious structures falling within the alignment of the proposed 80-foot-wide Nandpuri Road.

The road widening project had been facing challenges due to the presence of five धार्मिक structures within the designated boundary. These include a temple, a mosque, a mazar, a Bhomiya Ji platform, and a satsang hall, all of which were partially obstructing the planned expansion.

Over the past 15 days, JDA officials along with police authorities have been actively engaging with representatives of these religious sites. Through continuous dialogue and persuasion, authorities have sought to ensure that the encroachments are cleared in a cooperative and non-confrontational manner.

Officials indicated that the voluntary removal marks a positive step toward resolving what could have otherwise become a sensitive issue. The administration has emphasized maintaining communal harmony while proceeding with infrastructure development.

The Nandpuri Road widening project is considered crucial for improving traffic flow and connectivity in the Malviya Nagar area, which has seen rapid urban growth and increasing congestion in recent years.

Authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure that the remaining obstructions are addressed smoothly, with minimal disruption and full cooperation from all parties involved.
