The latest weekend episode of Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa turned into one of the show’s most talked-about moments after Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut fiercely confronted television star Ram Kapoor over his attitude and gameplay. Returning as the “Janta Ki Awaaz” for the special “Judgement Day” episode, Kangana wasted no time in calling out Ram, delivering a blunt reality check that has since sparked widespread discussion on social media.

Although filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Riteish Deshmukh are hosting the second season, Kangana’s guest appearance quickly stole the spotlight. Reviewing the contestants’ performances during the first week inside the jail-themed reality show, she singled out Ram Kapoor for what she described as an arrogant approach and an unwillingness to accept criticism.

Addressing the veteran television actor directly, Kangana questioned whether he was taking the competition seriously at all. She remarked that if he believed he was “too big” for the show, then he should never have entered the jail in the first place. Her sharp comments left both the contestants and the audience stunned.

Ram Kapoor, however, refused to back down. Defending himself, he claimed that when the right time arrived, he would reveal his true personality better than anyone else in the house. Before he could continue, Kangana interrupted him with a statement that instantly became the highlight of the episode: “Don’t defend yourself if you want to improve.” The remark was met with loud applause from fellow contestants and quickly went viral online.

Kangana’s criticism wasn’t based on a single incident. Ram Kapoor has been surrounded by controversy since the beginning of the season. Earlier in the week, he drew criticism after sharing his views on infidelity during a house debate. Ram argued that cheating in a long-term marriage is not always a deal-breaker if genuine love and family responsibilities remain intact. While his wife, Gautami Kapoor, publicly supported his perspective, many viewers strongly disagreed, leading to heated discussions across social media platforms.

Adding to the tension, Ram had already clashed with Farah Khan during a previous “chargesheet” segment. Farah pointed out that despite being one of television’s biggest stars, he had failed to make a noticeable impact inside the Lock Upphouse and had largely faded into the background. Instead of accepting the criticism, Ram dismissed her comments, saying that if his performance wasn’t good enough, the makers were free to eliminate him because he had no intention of changing himself.

Farah responded with humor, joking that people who refuse to evolve eventually become dinosaurs. Ram confidently replied that he was happy to become one, a remark that further fueled criticism about his stubborn attitude.

Following Kangana Ranaut’s appearance, social media users overwhelmingly praised the actress for confronting Ram Kapoor without hesitation. Many viewers felt her straightforward hosting style brought the intensity and accountability that reality television thrives on, with several calling her the “real queen” of Lock Upp. Fans also noted that Kangana’s fearless approach reminded them why the first season of the show became such a massive success.

Meanwhile, the competition continues to intensify. Contestants Sunita Ahuja, Harshad Chopda, and Akanksha Chaudhary have secured their safety ahead of the first elimination. However, Shreya Kalra, Sufi Motiwala, Shrestha Iyer, Akanksha Chamola, and Madhuri Grover remain in the danger zone as viewers eagerly await the season’s first eviction.

With emotions running high and confrontations becoming increasingly explosive, Lock Upp Season 2 appears to be living up to its reputation as one of television’s most unpredictable reality shows.
