The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have finally unveiled the much-awaited music video of its first romantic track, Tabaahi, giving fans a fresh glimpse into the emotional side of Yash’s upcoming action thriller. While the song’s audio was released earlier this year, the visuals have now introduced audiences to the sizzling chemistry between Yash and Kiara Advani, offering a striking contrast to the film’s intense and gritty promotional campaign.

The music video opens with a thought-provoking quote by renowned poet Rumi: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” The poetic beginning sets the tone for a visually rich love story that unfolds through scenic backdrops and intimate moments between the lead pair.

Unlike the action-packed teasers released so far, Tabaahi focuses on romance, with Yash and Kiara sharing several heartfelt moments that hint at a deep yet mysterious relationship between their characters. Their effortless chemistry has already become a talking point among fans eagerly awaiting the film’s release.

Apart from the lead couple, the video also offers brief glimpses of the film’s other leading ladies. Nayanthara, who plays Yash’s trusted aide, and Tara Sutaria, who portrays his mistress, make appearances that further tease the complex relationships expected to drive the film’s narrative.

Composed by Vishal Mishra, Tabaahi has been crafted as a true pan-India musical experience. While Raj Shekhar has penned the Hindi lyrics, the song has also been adapted into Kannada by Yogaraj Bhat, Telugu by Ramajogayya Sastry, Tamil by Vignesh Shivan, and Malayalam by Rafeeq Ahammed, allowing audiences across languages to connect with its emotional essence.

The romantic number arrives after the film’s teasers generated significant online discussion. The promotional videos introduced viewers to Yash in a striking new beardless look while establishing the film’s dark, violent, and adult-oriented world.

However, the latest teaser also drew criticism on social media for its bold imagery and provocative themes. Some viewers questioned its depiction of women after a voiceover declared, “Love makes monsters of women.” The teaser also featured several intense sequences, including one in which Yash is seen holding a revolver inside a woman’s mouth, reinforcing the film’s mature and gritty tone.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has witnessed multiple release date changes over the past few months. The film was initially expected to arrive earlier this year before production delays, distribution planning, and global market considerations pushed its release further.

With the schedule now locked, the makers have confirmed that the highly anticipated action drama will hit theatres worldwide on August 26. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic continues to build momentum with every promotional release, and Tabaahi has only heightened excitement by revealing a romantic side to a film that has so far been defined by violence, mystery, and high-octane action.
